Love this place my favorite place is nice and clean since the remodel wish they wouldn't have taken down all the artwork and tagging in the bathroom but I guess it's time to restart some new art in there this place is a little hole-in-the-wall and it's been here since before all this stuff on Alberta I've been going here since 20 years ago when you wouldn't walk in the neighborhood past 7 p.m. lol this place is tasty it's a must-try

100% best Mexican spot I've found in Portland! You get amazing flavor at unbelievable prices. I personally love the Carnitas & the Pork Skin Tacos, the Tamales are also off the hook! The staff is super amazing (and deserve your tip.) You will not be disappointed if you come here, unless you dont like amazingly flavored food then this place isn't for you 😉. Wether you're looking for cheap eats or seriously good grub this is the spot (also worth the drive.)

ABSOLUTE BEST Mexican Food in Portland!!! My Husband & I will drive across town just to eat some AMAZING Authentic Mexican Food, their prices & food portions are Unreal- You would never imagine how impressive this place is just by driving by.. EAT HERE- YOU WILL LOVE IT!!! :)

Very authentic Mexican menu, great prices and great food.

Since Portland got expensive many of the good Mexican places have moved to the edges of the city. La Sirenita is one of the exceptions. It has served up excellent food from sopes to tamales on Alberta Street. They are one of the few places which serves tripa and lengua where the tripe is crispy and the tongue is tender. That is why La Sirenita is our goto place when nobody wants to cook.

Amazing tacos! I just moved to Portland and I must have stumbled across the most authentic taco joint in town. Super affordable (less then 2$ each!) And now don't forget to try their tamales!!!. Their pork was better then the chicken imo.

This is a pretty divey place. It's just a nice small spot from my first impression. Their food is not bad and very reasonably priced.They have a Crock-Pot with jalapenos and a bar with a bunch of sides and sauces which is a nice tough. A lot of condiment options.I went here with a pretty large group of people and they got our food out pretty fast. It was maybe a tad salty for my taste but I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quick bite.

Compare the clientele to folks waiting at La Bonita next door, and you'll get a sense for which one is authentic Mexican food. We have tried 4 tacos: carne asada, carnitas, tripe, and pastor. All were absolutely delicious - perfectly crispy with char. The homemade salsa is amazing as well. Super friendly staff who both times threw in a free taco for us because they made an extra one ❤️

This place is a little hole in the wall, but their street tacos and burritos are some of the best around. Service is fast and food is always hot and tasty. Try the asada, it's fantastic.

I used to be a regular here but over the years they been going down hill.. let me elaborate. The quality of the food has gone down, the service, even just the restaurant itself and i don’t even eat in half the time, but when i walk in and it smells immediately like the bathroom,, im walking right tf back out. Step it back up y’all WERE my favorite place around, affordable and delicious, now yall are over priced and highkey dingy. 😕👎🏼 (sidenote: Don’t try to call in, IF THEY PICK UP they don’t even take your name, you’re just the “chicken burrito with extra pico” which could literally be anyone)

I liked the food a lot and the horchata. It's a 3 minute walk from my apartment, and it's cheap. Why would I go to any other Mexican restaurant on Alberta?

Delicious vegetarian options been coming here 15 to 20 years maybe even longer as I'm from North/Northeast Portland very good food here at this spot

Good spot been coming here for over 20 years.

This place is like home. That sweet little hole in the wall type spot. They have a great condiment selection with spicy carrot and marinated pepper. The burritos are a good size and they are quick. It’s neighborhood staple. Located, oddly, right next to another restaurant of the same general style, but not quite as greasy spoon, down home as this.

Good Mexican food

This place is good! Just delicious authentic Mexican food. Everything about this place makes it feel like it's traditional Mexican cooking. Also get a Coke while you're here. The bottles are long and great for two people.

Friendly staff and great location. Parking can be rough most times of the day. Super delicious food and HUGE portions. I always go home with leftovers. Definitely would recommend

I've been going to La Sirenita for years. Green chicken burrito is the best. A fresh coat of paint and new wood tables have really improved the aesthetic inside but what really counts is huge, cheap burritos and tasty tacos which is what they consistently deliver.

This place was a amazing. Definitely coming here again. The menudo was the right color and texture with the right kick.
